About Our Club

Looking to improve your art skills? Wanting to explore the different forms of art? Or just looking for the chance to draw more? Then Art & Design Club might just be the place for you!

We aim to nurture art enthusiasts into holistic and well-rounded individuals, embodied with good character and resilience through the process of art making.

In line with our school’s Learning for Life Programme (LLP) on environmental education, pupils learn to transform unwanted items into usable products. Pupils turned old magazines into paper mâché pulp and sculpt them into paper mâché leaves. The process teaches patience and resilience as they work together in groups to complete the activity.

To commemorate Earth Day, we transform part of our Art room into a super organised Recyclable Corner! This little green space is to inculcate recycling habits and allow pupils to start valuing sustainability. Art club members learn to sort recyclables into categories and also using the materials for our upcycling art projects. Such activities will help to foster problem-solving skills and encourage the pupils to develop a creative mindset for turning reusable waste into functional objects.
